Flames
Casted shadows illudes this reality
Perception viewed through our phantoms
Attached to the physical
Self inflicted chains holding back
ones higher self
Blessed with light
Arrogance blinds the truth
Shatter restraints
Seeking the sun
Stepping stones
away from the cave
Long gradual build of melioration
Explore this journey
Eliminate your deprivation
Internal drive, the earliest compass
has led a rise in brain activity
Allows a greater passage of thought
Forming ideas apart from material
Infinite net, test your wonder
Embrace the code, fractal whole
Become the code
Realization of conscious self
Step to a greater being
Discover the true potential
Which lies inside the human mind
Discovery of the spark
Spit from the source
The gift to wield the flame
Commences the branching
away from the cave
Share the flame
Burn bright together
Unify the eternal as one
Stronger as a pack
Gain the advantage of this mind
Breath the light that paves the way
to sacred self
Self
Indulge in wonders that speak to heart
Strip away that which holds us back
from expanding out with an open reach
Reach
Stronger as pack
Gain the advantage
We are part of a larger story
of this planets ability to produce life
from its ancient waters
A long and patient ascend
to summon this defining chapter
built over eons
Grow
So many still lost
behind flames
Shine on as a beacon
in this cave
I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
Bridging Nordic black metal with traditional Celtic folk, the Idaho crushers forge heavy music with a heroic medieval spirit. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 11, 2023
Extremely inventive and multifaceted sci-fi prog death, just like iridescent ethereal world on the cover art. Best band's achievement up to date. And easily in 2023 AOTY list Dmitry Nevozhay
